OUR HISTORY
Our journey began at the Politecnico di Milano, where two entrepreneurs from the international MBA joined forces with a shared vision: to democratize access to data technology and artificial intelligence by accelerating digital transformation through European knowledge transfer and leveraging the highly competitive talent of Latin America.
Driven by our passion for technology and innovation, we work with people and organizations, helping them unlock the potential of artificial intelligence and make strategic, datadriven decisions—regardless of geographical location or digital maturity.

Giancarlo Salamanca
Fundador y CEO
Giancarlo Salamanca is an executive with more than 22 years of experience leading digital transformation, technological infrastructure, and business development projects in sectors such as telecommunications, data centers, and artificial intelligence. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and an MBA Cum Laude in Digital Transformation from the Politecnico di Milano School of Management (POLIMI GSoM), specialized in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and IoT.
He has led highimpact initiatives in Latin America, including the structuring of hyperscale data centers, merger and acquisition negotiations of hundreds of millions of USD dollars, and the creation of new business units in partnership with international investment funds.
Giancarlo is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian, combining technical expertise with a strategic vision focused on democratizing access to artificial intelligence and ethical technology adoption. As CEO of Dataverse Solutions SL, he leads the company’s global expansion, connecting European technological expertise with the competitive talent of Latin America.
Nicolas Appelö
Cofundador y CFO
Nicolás Appelö is an international executive with more than 15 years of experience in consultative sales, strategic marketing, product management, and business development in hightech sectors. He is a Mechanical Engineer and holds an MBA in Digital Transformation from the Politecnico di Milano School of Management (POLIMI GSoM), where the foundational vision of Dataverse Solutions was developed.
He has led commercial operations in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Turkey, working in global companies such as ABB and Megger, where he managed multimilliondollar budgets, launched innovative products, and structured framework agreements with key players in the energy and technology sectors.
Multilingual in Spanish, English, and Swedish, Nicolás brings a global perspective and intercultural sensitivity essential for the international expansion of Dataverse Solutions SL. As CFO, he leads the financial and business development strategy, ensuring solid, ethical, and longterm growth.
